The Montgomery County Police Foundation (MCPF) is proud to support the Montgomery County Police Department’s commitment to officer wellness through a donation to the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Academy (PSTA) Health and Wellness Room.

Since 2022, the PSTA has prioritized officer mental health as part of its mandatory In-service training.  As the program evolved, the Health and Wellness Room was established to provide essential resources and create an environment focused on maintaining physical fitness and mental clarity; law enforcement professionals face unique challenges every day, from responding to critical incidents to managing the ongoing stress that comes with serving the community.  The Health and Wellness Room provides officers with a dedicated space to pause, recharge, and focus on their well-being.

Through the generosity of its donors, MCPF funds programs and resources that enhance the lives of MCPD officers while strengthening the department’s ability to serve Montgomery County.  We are honored to partner with MCPD on initiatives that support those behind the badge and show our community’s appreciation for their dedication and service.
